From Vienna to Paris
Known to history as Queen Marie Antoinette of France was born an Archduchess of Austria and later became Queen of France. She was married to Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France, the future Louis XVI, and the mother of four royal children. Marie Antoinette is perhaps best remembered for her legendary extravagance and for her death when she was executed by guillotine during the Reign of Terror.
